My art takes on many forms. Yet whether it’s on paper, canvas or pixels, there’s an energy and aesthetic that ties it together. I tend to work in series—the latest, which I am currently involved, are paintings and drawings with collage.

These pieces begin with a vision of color I apply directly with my bare hands or self-made tool. This activity then dictates the images I turn to next. I find myself twisting, tearing and distorting the materials. I am acting out the ruckus within. The content takes on more complex meaning as I wage a war where all becomes disfigured to the point where the original seductive power has been recycled into something new.

The collage components are of printed material, my own drawing, writing and painting. The content of the printed matter is taken from mass media. Their subject excites my consumerism, my sexuality, my charitable nature, my artistic aspirations and my need to make money. The paint gives and environmental context for my inner excitations.
